Composer Helmy Bakr attacked the artist, Asala Nasri, after her statements about Saudi Arabia’s full credit for shaping her artistic career.
And he added, during a phone call to the “Hazrat Al-Citizen” program, broadcast on the “Al-Hadath Al-Youm” satellite channel, yesterday evening, Monday, that he cooperated with Asala in many works, indicating that the Egyptian TV adopted it, and through it she presented many works.
And he continued, Asala achieved success and her voice still fills the world, adding: “Our singers, when they speak, lose a lot, and Mrs. Umm Kulthum said before, “The microphone must be made for singing, so when we speak in it, we go from our value in success.”
He pointed out that the audience forgave the artists a lot, especially in the crisis of one of the artists who made many mistakes recently, adding: “My son, when he makes a mistake, I punish him, but the son of the neighbors when he adopted him, and my son does not make a mistake.”
He continued: “Asala resides in Cairo, and holds the Bahraini and Syrian nationalities, and while she was in Syria, when the broadcaster introduced her while she was new and said that” Syria is the birthplace, “I replied to him:” If Syria was the birth, then Egypt is the bosom, and the bosom is much warmer than the birth.
Bakr concluded: “I blame Asala, there is no shame.”
The artist, Asala Nasri, spoke about her concert, which she recently performed in the Riyadh season in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Asala published the pictures, through her account on Instagram, and commented: “The words explain it..your love I lived in it my whole life like a kind, affectionate homeland..the party that I want to talk about is the party of my dreams in which it is from my stations a little bit, and I discovered through it that we are you and I are more than Family and more than owners.
And she added: “We are a mixture of each dear, and the roles are destroyed on us with each story with a song that we tell.. And the best thing is that we do not have young and old, we gather energy and we are all of one age.. I am with the young ones, I see with them tomorrow and with the same enthusiasm with them I draw it.. and I am with the adults I help them to forget every pain that we have passed and we will not get over it.. The night that I want to talk about is worth an entire lifetime..Many people got tired of it. I will mention some of them.”
At the beginning of the ceremony, Asala said to her audience: “My meeting with you today includes all of my past life and all of my future life, and tonight is a new beginning. I thank my custodial country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and this is a great responsibility, and I hope to always be up to it and thank the honor.”
