Sharjah International Film Festival will start on 22nd of this month. Films from 37 countries including India will be exhibited at the fair. The film festival will be held in Sharjah Al Sahiya City Center till 28th of this month.
81 films from 37 countries will enter the fair. Sharjah Film Festival’s specialty is films for children and youth. Bhutan, Montenegro, Malta, Togo and Vietnam will participate for the first time this time. A special event called Sharjah Film Days will also be held as part of the 10th anniversary.
The film festival will also host the global debut of three films. The first screening of 43 films will also be held here. 15 directors and film experts will participate. 20 judges and 17 ambassadors will arrive. 1710 delegates from 90 countries are expected at the film festival.
