In a joyful Ramadan atmosphere, to enhance the values of institutional cohesion, and to consolidate the principles upon which Sharjah Police is based, His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, honored the success’s strategic partners, supporters, organizers and volunteers who contributed to the success of the activities of the fifth edition of the Police Desert Park, which It came under the slogan “Together…time is more beautiful.”
The ceremony, which was held on Friday evening at the Montazah, was attended by His Excellency Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, and Brigadier Ahmed Haji Al Sarkal, Director General of Police Operations, and among the sponsors: His Excellency Majid Salem Al Junaid, CEO of Sharjah Cooperative, and His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al Kabouri. Director of the Suburbs Affairs Department, Mr. Hassan Al-Balgouni, Director of the Corporate Communications Department at Sharjah Islamic Bank, Mr. Muhammad Obaid Al-Khayal, Senior Executive of Public Relations and Ceremonies, representative of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and among the supporting partners: His Excellency Dr. Ali Ahmed Bu Al-Zawd, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Classic Car Club, and His Excellency Abdullah Sultan bin Saluma Al Ketbi, Director of Al Bataeh Municipality, and Engineer Khalifa bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director of Technical Services at the Sharjah City Municipality, along with a number of senior officers and representatives of government and private agencies.
During his speech, His Excellency Major General Al Shamsi expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts and cooperation of all partners, supporters, organizers, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to the success of this event, which pleased the community and provided an exceptional experience in this version of the Desert Police Park, stressing the pivotal role they play, and the importance of Community work in accordance with strategic partnership frameworks that are consistent with aspirations and desired goals.
He added: The Police Desert Park carried Sharjah’s comprehensive message towards strengthening social ties by providing a distinguished model for the family and an ideal tourist experience in the embrace of Sharjah’s nature, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance communication with members of society, and enhance unity and social cohesion in an inspiring natural environment.
At the conclusion of his speech, Al Shamsi stressed the importance of continuing joint work and effective cooperation, which represent the basic foundation for achieving success in such pioneering initiatives.
Then, His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, honored (364) participants, including (5) sponsors, (19) supporters from private and government agencies, (24) from the organizational and support committees, and (75) volunteers. (30) of the lecturers, in addition to (211) of the participants in the park, thanking everyone for the entire period during which the park witnessed generosity, organization and excellence.
