Sharjah Sports Council’s Distinguished Presence at the 12 Suburbs Festival

The Sharjah Sports Council recorded a distinguished presence and fruitful participation in the 12 Suburbs Festival, whose activities concluded on Friday, December 29, at Al Qarayen Park 4, under the supervision of the Suburbs and Villages Affairs Department and with the participation of various government agencies, departments and institutions in the emirate.

The Sharjah Sports Council pavilion, with the participation of the emirate’s clubs, witnessed a large turnout throughout the festival’s days from visitors who, as individuals and families, enjoyed its activities and exhibits.

Muhammad Ali bin Hammad, Director of the Government Communications Department, said: The Council’s participation in the festival confirmed its positive societal role alongside sports and the fruitful cooperation with the emirate’s clubs.

He expressed his happiness with the interaction and interest of the public, who learned practically regarding the role of the Council, which is not limited to supporting sports activity alone. He also enjoyed the clubs’ displays, which included pictures, achievements, and cultural, cognitive, and entertainment competitions for various age groups.

Ibn Hammad thanked the Council’s partners, including clubs and supporting institutions, for the success achieved. He also thanked the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs for the wonderful organization that won the praise of the visitors.
