Dr. Fokana, an organization of American Malayalees, received the best parliamentarian award. Shashi Tharoor MP presented to John Brittas MP. The award was presented at the closing ceremony of the 40th convention of Phocana, an organization of American Malayalees held in the capital for two days.
JK Menon also presented the award for the best young expatriate businessman at the function. Shashi Tharoor inaugurated the grand finale. Dr. Shashi Tharoor while inaugurating the closing session said that John Brittas is an excellent parliamentarian.
