How do you feel when you are in Egypt with your first song?
Happy to be in Egypt, it has a special place in my heart, as it is the country of art, beauty, and the source of true music and rapture. For a long time, I did not come to Cairo, and I moved away from it for a while, but I returned to it through a new launch with a new album, most of its songs are Egyptian, and I liked that the first song I released was her. My Life’s Dream” is an Egyptian song. I know the importance of Egypt and its artistic and musical status. Egypt is the Hollywood of the East, and it has stars and professionals in all musical fields.
But did you have experience singing in Egyptian before?
It was a lonely experience singing in Egyptian, immediately after I left “Star Academy”, titled “A Sweet Word”, in which I collaborated with Mohamed Qamah, but it did not achieve the required resonance, because I am able to sing in the Egyptian dialect, because I was brought up and loved Egyptian songs and music since childhood.
Why were you late singing in Egypt?
Everything in its time is sweet, and there are people who start their artistic career in Egypt, and I want to end it in Egypt. Any artist in his career must have an imprint in Egypt, and I decided to present Egyptian songs, and the song “Dream of My Life” is my first song in the Egyptian dialect, and I filmed the clip In Beirut, I am attending other Egyptian songs, there is a song called “I think”, and I am preparing to present Egyptian works composed by Ramy Sabry. Indeed, I was associated with filming the song’s clip in Lebanon for the love of working with director Fadi Haddad, and God willing, there will be filming of many songs in Egypt, and I wish to meet the directors of Egyptian clips. I wish to cooperate with director Mohamed Sami in a video clip, as I have cooperated with him before in directing Some clips, so I hope to collaborate with him again, but I don’t know if he will come back to direct clips again or not.
Who are the artists in Egypt that you love?
Egypt is full of beautiful voices and great stars, such as Amr Diab, Hamaki, Tamer Hosni and Ramy Sabry, all of them are singers that I love very much, and I love the voice of Mahmoud Al-Esseily very much, as I learned from the artists of the beautiful time, such as Shadia and I love Fayrouz’s voice, and she is an incomparable artist, and I am very influenced by her voice and music, and I love Fadl Shaker and Marwan Khoury.

How is your acting? Do you intend to participate in Egyptian works?
I have previously acted in two series, one Iraqi and the other Gulf, and the roles were dramatic, and I received offers to act in Egypt while I was in the stage of reading the script, and I would love for the role that I will present to give me my right and not just acting.
Are there artists that you would particularly like to work with from Egypt?
Certainly, I wish to act with the star Tamer Hosni, and I love him very much in his cinematic works and I love him very much in his comedies. I also wish to act with Mohamed Ramadan, who is a close friend and a very smart actor. I also hope to perform duets with a large number of singers in Egypt, most notably Amr Diab and Mohamed Hamaki, Tamer Hosni and Mohamed Ramadan, they are the most important and prominent stars in the Arab world and Egypt now.
What are the most important voices that influence you?
I am in love with Sherine Abdel Wahab, and I see that she is the voice of Egypt, and I was influenced by the Lebanese star Fayrouz, as well as Fadel Shaker, Marwan Khoury, and many other voices in the Arab world.
What is the story of the festival that will be held in Iraq?
It is an art festival whose name will be “Iraq Awards”. It is the first Arab festival during which artists are honored and awards are distributed. It will be held in Baghdad. The jury will consist of artists and creators from Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon and all Arab countries, and there will be specialists, and I am very happy that every artist was invited to the festival. As soon as he learns that it will be established in Iraq, his joy will be great. We must change everyone’s point of view in terms of security. Iraq has become a country of security and peace, and the situation has improved a lot from before.
The festival will witness a large presence of the stars of art in the Arab world, who will be honored during it, as this will be the first time that the Iraqi artist will honor the artists of the Arab world, and awards will be given to the best cinematic and lyrical works that were successful during their presentation.
And what is your dream in life?
I have been striving all my life to fulfill my life’s dream, which is to establish a singing academy that brings together different talents from all over the Arab world, and we strive to make their voices reach the audience.
