An American from Florida said she was arrested when she was just 19 because it was on her bucket list.
The latter would have fled the police deliberately for the sole purpose of being arrested, reports the New York Post.
When Monroe County Sheriff’s Sergeant Robert Dosh tried to arrest Janiya Shaimiracle Douglas, she fled as she was pursued by a police car with flashing lights and sirens.
Douglas then admitted to Dosh that getting arrested had actually been on his to-do list since high school.
The sergeant took her to jail on the grounds of flight and escape.
