A homeowner put her neighborhood through an ordeal last weekend by forgetting to turn off her alarm clock which rang continuously for 48 hours, the newspaper reports. The Diari de Girona.
Residents of a residential neighborhood in Girona, Spain, had to endure the resounding ringing of the dial for the entire weekend of April 16-17.
It was finally on Monday the 18th that a neighbor filed a complaint with the police, very irritated by the situation.
The police went to the scene where they found the source of this incessant noise. However, the residence was empty, since the owner had spent the weekend elsewhere.
She was also fined 100 euros, or regarding 137 Canadian dollars, for causing “unnecessary sound at an inappropriate time”.
