SHEILA on 7 still survives with three members. They are not yet looking for a permanent drummer to complete the band formation.
“We’ve been through that, so now it’s just the three of us,” said Adam Subarkah, bassist for Sheila on 7, Wednesday (17/4).
“In essence, the three of us who survived can still find a way to have the same love of music,” he continued.
Sheila on 7 was formed in 1996. The initial members consisted of Akhdiyat Duta Modjo (vocals), Saktia Ari Seno (guitar), Eross Candra (guitar), Adam Subarkah (bass), and Anton Widiastanto (drums).
Anton left the band in 2004, and was followed by Sakti in 2006. Brian Kresna Putro replaced Anton as the drummer for Sheila on 7 from 2004 until he left the band in 2022.
Now, Sheila on 7 is collaborating with drummer Bounty Ramdhan as an additional player in their stage performances.

In the concert tour entitled Wait for Me Di, which is scheduled to take place starting July 2024 in Samarinda, Makassar, Pekanbaru, Medan, and Bandung, Sheila on 7 will appear with a three-member formation (Duta, Adam, and Eross) with Bounty as an additional player.
Adam said that the band members were preparing for the concert tour, including practicing music, designing the stage concept, and compiling a list of songs to be performed.
“There will definitely be hit songs, we also happen to listen to friends’ requests,” said Adam.
In its concert tour, Sheila on 7 will involve local musicians in each city as opening performers.
However, neither Adam nor the concert organizers have shared the names of the local musicians who will be the opening performers at the Sheila on 7 concert. (Ant/Z-1)
