Sheraa signs a partnership to empower entrepreneurs in Sharjah

Sharjah (Al Ittihad) – Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center “Sheraa” signed a partnership with the “DMZ” program aimed at developing a supportive environment for startups to enhance the success of entrepreneurs in Sharjah by enabling 15 startups in the emirate to benefit from the program.

This came during a visit by a delegation from the DMZ to the Sheraa Center, during which the two parties discussed the most important capacity-building strategies that would improve the entrepreneurship scene in Sharjah. They also discussed the need to develop an incubating environment for startups because of their significant impact on local economies.

The partnership provides a unique opportunity for Sheraa’s start-up community to access the DMZ’s “launch platform” for on-demand learning, which is specifically designed to support aspiring and novice entrepreneurs in developing their basic entrepreneurial skills.

The 15 startups selected at the recent edition of the recently held Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival will join DMZ’s intensive two-week program at Toronto Pearson International Airport to learn about the most important North American business scaling methods and processes, as well as access to To DMZ’s global network to explore new markets for business expansion.
