Social networking sites, during the past hours, the rumor of the return of the Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab to her ex-husband, the singer Hossam Habib, following a separation lasted regarding two months, before the beloved singer came out Wednesday, and denies the news, threatening to punish her promoters legally.
The official denial from Shirin came following the circulation of news attributed to a number of workers in the artistic center regarding the return of the duo, confirmed by the broadcaster Basma Wahba following she posted on her Instagram account a photo of the former couple, and commented: The Return of Shirin Abdel Wahab to Hossam Habib. The news was also confirmed by the Egyptian concert organizer Youssef Dandash, who told the media that he tried to communicate with her a few days ago, and was surprised that Hossam was the one who answered her phone. Sherine herself was also keen on the obituary of her late husband’s grandmother via her “Twitter”page.
But Shirin decided to stop the torrent of rumors, in a statement through her account in “Twitter”, in which she denied the validity of the news circulating.
“The artist confirms that the news regarding her personal life is not true, and that she holds those who promote and publish it fully legal responsibility,”the statement said. She added:”She is the only one who owns the announcement of any news related to her married life, and calls on her dear audience not to pay attention to all this, as her current concern is to make him happy with the new songs”.
The couple officially separated in December, following reports of heated disagreements between Sherine and her husband’s family, following which Sherine appeared at one of her parties with a shaved head.
