The TikTok account of Sheryl Rubio’s partner, Lucas Shapiro, showed a controversial video, in which the Venezuelan’s partner parodied a serial killer, whose murders caused unrest in American society.

The publication has only generated negative comments on Twitter, where it ranked first among the topics of the moment in Venezuela.

This is not the first video shared on that digital platform in which Shapiro refers to the alleged resemblance between him and the serial killer or where he personifies it in a humorous parody tone.

What happens in the video?

The record is titled “If Jeff Dahmer Were Venezuelan” and begins with the image of the supposed ‘Milwaukee Monster’ in the apartment hallway of a building, alluding to the series ‘Dahmer’, broadcast by Netflix.

The husband of the “influencer” wears a white shirt and gold glasses similar to those of the character played by actor Evan Peters, the protagonist of the American production released in September.

“My name is Jefferson Dahmer Gómez, I invite you to my apartment,” says Shapiro, who mixes names in English and Spanish to identify his character.

Once inside the apartment, Rubio asks why it smells so strange, as it happened when the neighbors, the victims or the authorities asked Dahmer the same question, according to the series on the digital platform.

“It’s just that I left a hallaca outside and I forgot to throw it away,” says the man.

In the video, Shapiro offers Rubio drinks, much like the killer used to add sedatives to drinks to drug his victims and then kill them.

Also simulating the production of Netflix, the alleged Dahmer takes the “victim” to his room and puts on TV the series that the actress starred in her adolescence, called “Somos tú y yo”, and tells her that it is her favorite .

At the end of the video, they are both lying on a bed watching TV and she has a face that is not completely comfortable.

Avalanche of comments against

Interactions on Twitter have turned against the Venezuelan actress because of the relevance of the topic chosen for her viral content and because of the respect she should have for the victims of the serial killer.

Even in the US, some relatives of those killed by Dahmer have said that the Netflix series “retraumatizes” them.

Among the comments, some users think that the content is unfortunate because Rubio’s sister, according to what she herself told in a video, was murdered by her boyfriend in the late 1990s and the femicide went unpunished.
