She’s back after cosmetic medicine isolates her… Linda Evangelista on the Fendi catwalk

A year after she publicly revealed the failure of her plastic surgery, the international supermodel is back in touch with the fashion world. A quick and fleeting appearance, the time share of which was a few tens of seconds at most, followed by a standing ovation, what we might call the “Linda Evangelista Effect”. It was, however, the highlight of the parade FendiFriday, September 9, in New York.

The top model and brand ambassador returned to the catwalks, appearing during the final salute to the creative team, fifteen years after her last show, and a year after it was publicly revealed that she had been the victim of a wrong plastic surgery.

Linda Evangelista wore a huge operatic blue gown, reminiscent of a jeweler’s color Tiffany & Co (A brand, such as Fendiowned by LVMH luxury giant), and she carried a silver bag model Baguette on her arm.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of said bag (the famous model of French toast that she created Silvia Venturini Fendi 1997), the Italian brand organized a lavish parade. Organized by Fendi and British designer Kim Jones as Artistic Director, the event naturally focused on the famous baguette, carried by the models, but also on the long list of guests (around 1,000 people). It notably included Kate Moss, Kim Kardashian, Sarah Jessica Parker, or even Christy Turlington Burns, Shalom Harlow and Amber Valletta, who highly praised Linda Evangelista’s looks.

After living isolated due to the intervention of aesthetic medicine, which “disfigured her face and body for life”, the model reconnected with the world of fashion. This month, she appeared on the front page of British Vogue, where she recounted the ordeal she endured to get her image back.
