Shiffrin leads in Kranjska Gora – ÖSV form crisis continues – winter sports

Kranjska Gora – Mikaela Shiffrin is aiming for her 82nd World Cup win in Kranjska Gora, which would draw her level with compatriot Lindsey Vonn. At half-time in the second giant slalom, Shiffrin is 0.24 seconds clear of Italy’s Federica Brignone and 0.39 over the previous day’s winner Valerie Grenier of Canada. Austria’s top runners continue to drive completely off track, none made it into the top 20.
