Mortada stressed, “There is no strong team and another weak team, you must play with a high spirit, as the league has not yet been decided.”
And he concluded: “An important confrontation awaits us against Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, which defeated Al-Ahly Bank by three in the last match.”
While Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala”, the captain of Zamalek, seemed optimistic, saying during the same session: “We will win the league and the cup, we must resolve matters in the Alexandrian Federation match.”
Zamalek leads the Egyptian league table with 75 points, behind Pyramids 68 points, and Al-Ahly 64 points, 3 rounds before the end of the competition.
In the Egypt Cup, Zamalek qualified for the quarter-finals, where they will face Al-Masry Al-Borsaidi, early next month.
