Former captain Younis Khan came out in support of fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar regarding the criticism of Pakistan Cricket Board’s legal team and legal adviser Tafazul Rizvi.
The former fast bowler of the national team criticized the PCB’s legal adviser Tafazul Rizvi by calling the three-year sentence of Umar Akmal by the Pakistan Cricket Board as too severe.
Shoaib Akhtar said that Tafazul Rizvi spoils all the players, he has also lost the case against me in the past.
He further said that PCB’s legal department and its legal adviser Tafazul Rizvi are incompetent.
PCB’s legal advisor Tafazul Rizvi submitted an application to FIA’s cybercrime circle against the former fast bowler’s statement on social media and also filed a claim for damages of Rs 10 crore against him.
The Pakistan Cricket Board also termed the statement of former fast speed star Shoaib Akhtar as defamatory and said that he too reserves the right to take action.
Now former national team captain Younis Khan has released a message on social media in support of Shoaib Akhtar.
Younis Khan says that Shoaib Akhtar has expressed the appropriate and bitter truth, it is time for PCB to take an honest look at Shoaib Akhtar’s remarks.
The former captain of the national team said that it is better for Pakistan cricket and players, I stand with Shoaib Akhtar.
