Indian novelist and writer Shobha Dey says that if you see Mammootty, you should put your head on his chest. When asked who she would be if she had the chance to live once more, Shobha replied that she would be Mammootty. Shobha said that the reason was that she adored him. Shobha Dey’s remarks were made at Mathrubhumi’s International Literary Festival.
I saw his old film. I liked him immediately. I have asked my husband if I can meet Mammootty someday. There are no actors with such a bare chest in Hollywood or Bollywood. And that voice, compassion in his eyes, sensitivity and intelligence in acting are his specialty. Mammootty has a rich life and an amazing career. I don’t care if you get it wrong. If I ever see him, I want to rest my head on his rock-like chest for half a second, or at least for a microsecond. It would be like going to heaven for me. Then I will smile.’ Sobha Dey said.
