Daniil Medvedev, world No. 2 and one of the favorites designated for the final victory at Roland-Garros, experienced elimination from the start! At the end of a high-flying match, the Russian was defeated by the Brazilian Thiago Seyboth Wild, only 172nd in the ATP ranking, 7-6 (7/5) 6-7 (6/8) 2-6 6-3 6-4.
