The timeline of the case
The minor visited a private gynecologist with her mother, as she was experiencing an irregularity with her period. He found out that she is pregnant and is in the seventh month and referred her to the hospital.
Then the 14-year-old and her mother went to the hospital, where the doctors undertook to monitor her. A few days ago the minor girl gave birth to a healthy baby.
At the hospital, however, it was found that there was no father and the police authorities were immediately informed. From the preliminary investigation, it emerged that the 14-year-old had in the previous months been in a relationship with two adult men (the 44-year-old and the 48-year-old, who were arrested), who have even confessed that they did have sexual contacts with the minor and that it was known to her parents, according to the information.
At the same time, according to the information, the 46-year-old stepfather of the minor is also accused, who was also arrested for the same reason.
With the case being taken to Justice and the two men being taken to the investigator, one of the two (the 48-year-old) has reportedly said that if it is established that the child is his, he will recognize it.
