Officials of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc), attached to the Homicide Investigation Division, arrested a 48-year-old man in the Santa Rosalía parish, Libertador municipality of the Capital District, for the femicide of Yoliana Teresa Escalona Villamizar (29).
The murder occurred in a hotel on Avenida Sur 4, where the man managed to convince his girlfriend to go. Arriving at the site he killed her.

After the inquiries, the investigations determined that the murderer suspected that his current partner was secretly seen with the father of his little ones, which was verified by the same officials that it was not so.
Upon achieving his arrest, he was immediately placed under the order of the 47th Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry at the National Level with Full Jurisdiction.
