A spectacular head-on accident occurred on Sunday morning in the center of Hannut, in the province of Liège, the Belga agency noted on site.
Firefighters from the Hesbaye emergency zone were called to intervene shortly following 10:00 a.m., at the entrance to rue Zénobe Gramme, in Hannut.
For an undetermined reason, an accident involving two cars occurred there. At least one occupant had to be extricated from his vehicle which ended up on its roof.
The road was closed to traffic.
