A chilling scene remained in the retina of those attending the Juan Manuel Fangio Autodrome in Rosario, Argentina. In the enclosure, full of the emotion that dragged the fourth date of the TC2000everything came to a standstill after a shocking accident.
In the fastest sector of the trans-Andean track, the pilot Javier Scuncio Moro -from the YPF Honda team- starred in a strong overturning that took him out of the competition.
His car skidded off the track and immediately began spinning in the air. The vehicle he did about eight turns before clearing the tire guardrail of the circuit.
Despite the strong impact, Scuncio emerged unharmed and even, walking from his car.
“The reality is that it may have seemed cumbersome, but inside the car it didn’t feel that much. With the rollovers the speed decreased and when the car was stopped I was able to get out calmly”, declared the TC2000 driver, who has been living in Santiago de Chile for years.
