Shooting of the series “Eve, give birth!” Started in Moscow with the star of “IP Pirogov” Elena Podkaminskaya. The film in the dramedy genre will be released on the Start video service in the fall of 2022.
The project also involves Galina Polskikh, Alena Khmelnitskaya, Anatoly Bely, Dmitry Chebotarev, Sergey Epishev, Vsevolod Boldin and other actors.
The main character Eva is a talented dance teacher who always strives to be herself and not follow boring rules. She is an independent, self-reliant woman who prefers her work over her personal life. And her colleagues take advantage of this, loading the childless unmarried woman with even more work.
But one day Eva learns that “the love of her life” got married and became a father. At this moment, something clicked in her head, and the dancer decided on a radical change. Now she needs to have a baby by all means.
“In this project, my task is to talk about serious things with a smile,” director Nikita Grammatikov shared. – Using the example of Eva, we talk about how difficult it is to find a partner for a serious relationship and create a family. She is on the verge of despair from the pressure of others and her own disorder. It is this aggravation that causes a large number of comical situations.
“After watching women aged 30+ for a long time — myself, my girlfriends, colleagues, just girls on the streets and in cafes — listening to their worries and experiences, I gradually came to the idea of a story about a free and mostly independent woman who does not strive give birth to a child for “tick” or “so that relatives fall behind.” Eva sincerely believes in love and wants a family,” added scriptwriter and creative producer of the series Yulia Klimenko.
“The heroine is very interesting to me for her courage, drama, the search for happiness and truth through love, motherhood and family,” said Elena Podkaminskaya. – This image delivers special acting happiness because Eva is a professional dancer and I, in order to match her high level, do what I love – dance.
The creators of the series are confident that this story will be understandable and close not only to women, but also to men: the stronger sex will also be able to see and appreciate how often social pressure prevents people of any gender from living a happy life and starting relationships.
