Shots rang out in the parking lot of an arena in the Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough late Monday in Montreal.
The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) received several calls around 5 p.m. regarding gunshots heard near the Clément-Jetté arena.
According to initial information, an altercation between several individuals would have degenerated and shots would have been fired.
“No injuries were located by the police and no suspects were apprehended,” said Véronique Comtois, spokesperson for the SPVM, adding that a security perimeter was erected to allow investigators to do their work.
