Shots were fired in Nea Smyrni early Saturday afternoon (13.04.2024).
According to the first information, the shots were fired at a volleyball match that was taking place at the Andreas Varikas indoor stadium in Nea Smyrna.
The match was between Panionios and Ofi, who were playing for promotion. The episode was between Panioni fans shortly before the match started, outside the stadium. The information states that one fan shot another in the thigh, as a result of which the second was transferred to Gennimatas hospital. A total of 3 bullets fell.
The perpetrator has escaped and is being sought.
