Show jumper André Thieme celebrated his first victory during his US trip lasting several weeks.
The European Champion from Plau am See rode to victory in the Ocala Grand Prix.
With his EM mare Chakaria, the 46-year-old was faster than Canadian Francois Lamontagne, who was also flawless, with Chanel du Calvaire. Thieme traveled to Florida in January, where he has been winter riding for several years and is preparing for the outdoor season in Europe.
