The WhatsApp instant messaging application is working on a new feature to show profile information in conversations, which will be available in a future update to the application.
The specialized website “wabetainfo” monitored the new feature, while reviewing the new features included in the latest beta version (2.23.25.11), where profile information is immediately displayed within the conversation, according to the News 24 website.
This information appears directly under the contact’s name, and by clicking on it, the account details appear without having to leave the conversation. However, it is only visible when the contact is not connected to the Internet, or if the contact is online but protected with more privacy.
The new feature also improves visibility if users have recently updated their profile information, ensuring others in the conversation are aware of any changes to this information immediately.
