Washington – The US House of Representatives passed a trillion-dollar budget package shortly before an impending government shutdown. The draft law was approved on Friday with a cross-party majority – 286 MPs voted in favor and 134 MPs once morest. The $1.2 trillion package finances a large portion of the U.S. government’s operations for the current fiscal year, which runs through the end of September.
