Australian zinc miner New Century Resources has received an unsolicited off-market takeover offer from its largest shareholder, South African gold miner Sibanye-Stillwater, the companies said on Tuesday.
The offer of AUD 1.10 per share valued New Century at AUD 144.1 million ($99.54 million). Shares of the Australian company soared 42.2% after receiving the offer.
