Siemens AG and Siemens Healthineers each announce a donation of 500,000 euros in immediate assistance to victims of the earthquake in Morocco and floods in Libya, as well as to support rescue efforts in the face of these disasters.

In addition, the two German groups undertake to make donations of an amount equivalent to those made by their employees. Through the non-profit organization Siemens Caring Hands eV, donations are available to selected relief organizations.

These organizations will use the money to provide local relief measures in response to disasters, ranging from tents, shelter and technical support to food, clean water and basic medical care.
