Today, Thursday, April 11, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Hellenic Open University and the Decentralized Administration of Peloponnese – Western Greece and Ionia, in the presence of the President of the D.E. of E.A.P. – Prof. Ioannis Kalavrouziotis and the Secretary General of the Decentralized Administration of Peloponnese, Western Greece and Ionia, Dr. Dimitriou Katsaros.
The object of the Memorandum of Cooperation is:
• Collaboration on existing or new topics of common interest and transfer of know-how.
• Joint organization of scientific or research activities (eg conferences, workshops, events), joint announcements at conferences.
• Organization of training programs.
• Exchange/reciprocal visits of members of the university community (faculty, EDIP, EEP, ETEP, administrative), and students (undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral candidates), as well as postdoctoral researchers, with the aim of promoting scientific research, teaching and the corresponding administrative organization.
• Joint submission, undertaking and implementation of national, European and international research programs and innovative initiatives.
• Valid citizen information, through scientifically documented information, extensive article writing, interviews and social media posts.
• Any other research and/or academic-educational activity aimed at the common benefit and jointly decided by the partners.
Through the Memorandum of Cooperation, the Hellenic Open University expands its educational and research activities, utilizes the Scientific Staff, the students of the Foundation and expands its extroversion.
