Some will say finally, others will rather affirm that the wait of almost a decade will have been worth it. Konami has lifted the opaque veil around its projects with the Silent Hill franchise and it must be said, it’s really exciting!

During its broadcast, at supper time, the developer did not announce a project around Silent Hill… but five!
The one that catches the eye is undoubtedly Silent Hill Ascension, a new interactive game where players from all over the world, on multiple platforms, will be able to collaborate together.
The short trailer features players wondering if they can save a woman, before seeing the mention Face your fears together and end with the mention Live 2023.
What’s great is that the developer from Montreal, Behavior Interactive, is participating in this large-scale project which is very promising.
The rumor that suggested that a remake of Silent Hill 2 is in the works is well and truly true!
We will therefore be able to find James Sunderland who, following a letter from his deceased wife, goes to the place from which she was sent… to Silent Hill of course!
Everything will be in 4K on PS5 and PC, on a date to be revealed. Everything is developed in partnership with Bloober Team.
Also, No Code Studios is working on a spin offnamed Silent Hill Townfall, where we promise a different look at the franchise.
We were also unveiled Silent Hill F, another spin off which will take place in Japan, in the 60s, in a story imagined by Ryukishi07, with a setting that quickly sets the tone in a strange atmosphere.
Finally, a return to the cinema is also planned, with the film Return to Silent Hill.
In short, it’s a whole menu that is offered for a strong comeback of Silent Hill in our living rooms!
