As you know, horror games are not necessarily in the odor of sanctity at NoFrag, and if a few stand out from the crowd, like The Outlast Trials or Amnesia: The Bunker, they still remain exceptions in the tetrachia of proposals each less original than the other and of doubtful quality. Difficult, in these conditions, to be enthusiastic about Silent Rain, as already indicated during its announcement. There is still a little hope, because Seedlers Interactivethe small Lyonnais studio which develops it, describes it as a cooperative escape game for up to four players, but also a hide-and-seek game inspired byAlien: Isolation. For our part, the mechanics also remind us quite a bit of Hello Neighbor, minus the child sequestration aspect. It is therefore not first not a horrible walking-sim beast punctuated with screamers.
Our attempt at the demo with Mathmoite was not successful, because we didn’t really understand what to do. So for the early access release, we asked the dev team if a few courageous people would like to accompany us during a stream, just to chat a little and discover all the potential of Silent Rain.
