In the second tour of the Professional Billiards (PBA) this season, the strong players in the women’s division had mixed feelings.

In the women’s round of 64 of the ‘Silk Road & Ansan PBA-LPBA Championship’ held at Sangnoksu Gymnasium in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do on the 3rd, ‘Cambodia Express’ Throng Piabi (Blue1 Resort) and ‘Billiards Empress’ Ga-Young Kim (Hana Card), ‘Opening Queen’ Min-ah Kim ( NH Nonghyup Card) advanced to the next round. However, former champions such as ‘Billiards Goddess’ Lee Mi-rae (High1 Resort), Kim Ye-eun, Higashiuchi Natsumi (above Welcome Savings Bank) Kim Se-yeon (Huons) fell off the horse.

Throng defeated Kim Han-gil 21-17 in the first round and advanced to the round of 32. Last month, in the round of 32 of the Blue One Resort Championship, which was the opening match, Jang Hye-ri was caught and soothed the disappointment of losing three consecutive games.

The winner of the opening game, Kim Min-ah, also beat Kim Gyeong-ja 25 to 20. Blue One Resort Championship runner-up Kim Ga-young also joined Park Ji-won in the round of 32, beating Park Ji-won 18-12.

‘Super rookie’ Jang Ga-yeon (Huons) and women’s 3-cushion amateur ranking No. 1 Han Ji-eun (SY) also passed the round of 64 without difficulty following victories in the first and second qualifying rounds. Jang Ga-yeon defeated Higashiuchi 23-15, and Han Ji-eun defeated Kim Ye-eun 23-20.

Lee Mi-rae was defeated by ’25-year-old unknown’ Kim Da-hee by a score of 16 to 22. Kim Se-yeon also lost 15 to 22 to Jeon Ji-woo of her colleague.

The women’s round of 32 will be held on the 4th and 5th at 6:30 pm. The opening ceremony will be held at 1:00 pm on the 4th, and the men’s round of 128 will begin afterwards.
