Singapore Is taking proactive steps to understand and mitigate the impact of sea level rise on its precious offshore islands. On June 27, 2025, the Public Utilities Board (PUB), Singapore’s national water agency, announced the launch of a comprehensive study focusing on eight key islands. This two-year undertaking will provide critical data and recommendations to protect these vital areas from the increasing threat of coastal flooding.
