On the poster for the next film by Héléna Klotz, the singer Apple has transformed herself for the needs of the role, her first in the cinema. She shared yesterday, the photos of her new look.
She swaps her square for a really short cut. For its first appearance in the cinema, Apple does not do things by halves. In order to slip into the skin of the female lead role of “La Vénus d’argent”, the singer-songwriter and performer did not hesitate to take out the mower and shave her head.
This is what the 26-year-old artist revealed on Instagram this Sunday, preferring to warn his fans. “Hi, it was to let you know that I shaved my hair for my movie,” noted the singer, revealing photos of her change of look, spotted by The Huffington Post. And to add: “Now, I am thinking of dyeing myself blonde. Type 1 for yes and 2 for no,” she continued, hinting that her metamorphosis might not stop there.
Filming has started
If the film does not yet have an official release date, Apple has already started filming. And obviously, the singer savors this first cinematic foray. “I’m shooting for the first time in a film and I love it,” tweeted the artist at the end of October, who will play the role of a 24-year-old young woman on screen, forced to take on her siblings, and who to succeed in his life decides to embark on the world of finance. She will share the poster with Niels Schneider, Anna Mouglalis, Sofiane Zermani and Grégoire Colin.
A shoot that will not prevent the singer, winner of two music victories – female artist of the year in 2021 and revelation album in 2020 for “Les Failles” – to go on tour next year, to defend her third opus “Consolation”, unveiled last August.
