Singer Arno has died

Singer Arno died on Saturday April 23, announced his agent Filip De Groote. He had been battling pancreatic cancer since the end of 2019. He was going to be 73 in a month. Born in Ostend, Arno Hintjens had lived in Brussels since the 1980s and regularly frequented the district of Place Sainte-Catherine in Brussels. The singer had been made an honorary citizen of the capital. “Damn, we already miss him …”, reacted the mayor of Brussels, Philippe Close, in a nod to one of the artist’s key titles.
