Singer Cat Janice has died – News

Information regarding the death of the artist was published on her Instagram. Immediately, the media also informed the fans regarding her.

She was born Catherine Ipsan. In 2021, she was diagnosed with a rare malignant tumor called sarcoma, and since then she has been keeping fans informed regarding how she is fighting the disease. She then lost her voice because of the medication.

Before entering the hospice in January, she managed to record Dance You Outta My Head, her farewell song. She composed it for her seven-year-old son, Loren, and her story moved internet users around the world in the following weeks. In an interview with People magazine, she said that she got the idea for the song last spring, when the weather was beautiful and she and her son were playing in the car.

The song soon began to climb the charts and Cat Janice wrote on Instagram that she was in complete shock. She also said that she recorded the song to bring something positive to all the people fighting cancer.

“My last joy would be for you to listen to my song because all the proceeds will go to my son who I’m leaving soon,” she commented in one of her last posts.

Before her death, she transferred the rights to all her intellectual property to her son.
