In the second game after being acquitted of doping, the Italian sinner defeated American professional Alex Michelson 6:4.6:0.6:2 in 99 minutes. “I’m very happy with the win,” Sinner said. “I love New York.” Swiatek gave Ena Shibahara, a qualifier from Japan, only one set in 65 minutes with a score of 6:0.6:1.
