IFM RAW has shared a ‍thrilling video​ capturing SIX FEET UNDER‘s electrifying performance at The Abbey in orlando, florida, on January 10. The following day, chris Barnes, the iconic frontman ​of SIX FEET UNDER, took to Instagram to express his excitement.”About four shows into this US ‌Tour, and man, this has been unbelievable!” he ⁤wrote. “the fans, our crew, the ⁢other bands—nothing but ‍love. I’m so blessed to be back on the road and ⁣thankful to everyone who made it happen… our agents at TKO, Metal⁣ Blade ‌Records, and everyone in between. ⁤Making new friends and reconnecting with people I haven’t seen in years has been amazing.”

Barnes didn’t hold ​back his enthusiasm for the Orlando ​show, calling it “one⁤ of the top five greatest performances of⁢ my life.” ‌He added, “I’m​ still in awe of how⁢ killer last night was. Don’t miss this tour!!!!!!!!!!”

The band’s latest album, “Killing For ⁢Revenge”,‍ dropped in May 2024‌ via Metal Blade Records.⁤ This marks their fourteenth studio release and⁢ the second collaboration between Barnes and guitarist​ Jack Owen since reuniting for 2020’s “Nightmares Of The Decomposed”. ‌Owen also⁤ took on production duties for the new record.

Reflecting on their‌ partnership, Barnes shared, “We⁢ worked well together in CANNIBAL ‌CORPSE.‌ I’ve always admired ⁤Jack as⁢ a‍ friend and ‍musician, so I’m agreeable giving him‍ creative ‍control. I have immense respect⁣ for him as an artist.”

SIX FEET UNDER began as a side project⁣ for Barnes⁢ during his final years with CANNIBAL CORPSE, the band he co-founded. By 1995, it became his primary focus, coinciding with the⁣ release of their ‌debut‍ album, “Haunted”. Today,Barnes is the sole ‌original member,joined by Owen,guitarist Ray Suhy,bassist Jeff Hughell,and ​drummer Marco ​Pitruzzella.

Barnes couldn’t be prouder of⁣ the current ​lineup. “Jeff and Marco ​have been with me for about a‍ decade,” he said. “I’m fortunate to have some ‍of the‌ best musicians in metal.Jeff is a phenomenal bassist,Marco is arguably the best⁣ drummer⁤ out there,Jack is ‍the greatest songwriter I’ve worked with ⁣in over 30 years,and Ray is a versatile guitarist who can play anything from jazz to death metal.⁢ This lineup is untouchable.”

“Killing⁣ For Revenge” features⁢ a guest appearance by guitarist Jason⁢ Suecof on the track “Neanderthal”.‍ The album‌ was⁤ mixed and‌ mastered by Chaz ​Najjar at Badlands Recording in Denver,Colorado,and is‌ available on ‌CD,digital platforms,and vinyl.
