Ski dream couple: Shiffrin and Kilde got engaged

Mikaela Shiffrin and Aleksander Kilde have been the dream couple in the Alpine ski circuit since 2021. Now the two of them dare to take the next step. The 29-year-old posed in a photo smiling happily at the Norwegian’s side – with a diamond ring on her finger. The American uses emojis to let the world know what that means.

Just a few weeks ago, Kilde posted a declaration of love on social media to mark Shiffrin’s birthday. “You always inspire me. On the mountain, but even more – and this is most important – off the mountain,” he wrote below a shared picture. “Thank you for your support. And for making me a better person – I love you.”
