Ski jumping: Granerud triumphs in Bischofshofen – rts.ch

Halvor Egner Granerud won the 4 Hills Tournament. He is the first Norwegian to win since Anders Jacobsen in 2007.

Granerud didn’t give in to the pressure during the last contest in Bischofshofen. On the contrary, the 26-year-old jumper even got everyone to agree with jumps of 139m5 and 143m5. He thus celebrated his 3rd success on the 4 stages, following Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Deschwanden in the top-30

Granerud thus increased his lead over his runner-up the Polish Dawid Kubacki, who following winning in Innsbruck finished 3rd in Bischofshofen.

The Lucernois Gregor Deschwanden, 30th at the end of the initial round and last qualified for the final, might not improve his rank during the second round. He thus scored a point in the World Cup with his 30th place.
