Jakob Herrmann: Thank you! It’s definitely a shift. After years of pushing my limits in competitive sports, I wanted to embrace a different pace of life. Managing a hut offers me a unique opportunity to connect with nature and create a welcoming environment for guests to relax and enjoy the mountains.

Jakob Herrmann: I believe the skills I’ve developed in skiing—like endurance, resilience, and hospitality—will serve me well as a landlord. I want to create an atmosphere where guests feel inspired and comfortable, much like the camaraderie found in competitive sports.
