Every year, the ski resorts of the Alps rely heavily on British tourists to have a good season. Only, since Brexit and the epidemic of Covid-19, they are becoming rarer. A travel agency has found the parade : she rents a Eurostar and transports her sporty passengers to the foot of the mountains.

Deprived of their customers for months, the ski resorts of the Alps today have a priority : to bring back foreign skiers, composed mainly of English. For this, the travel agency Travelski brings a train from England to the French mountains.

The Eurostar rented for the occasion departs from London to reach in nine hours the valleys of Moutiers and Bourg-Saint-Maurice, the gateway to the French ski resorts. The line was owned by Eurostar, but with the Covid-19 and Brexit, the company abandoned it two years ago. Now the travel agency fully rents out the trains and takes care of selling the tickets. If, at the moment, almost half of the seats are empty, Travelski bet on profitability in the coming months.
