Since the beginning of September, job seekers in Brussels have had to take what is called a “skills assessment”.
For Actiris, this involves checking their level in IT and Dutch, but also checking whether the skills they advertise in these areas correspond to reality.
For the moment, it is young people, recently registered with Actiris as job seekers, who are taking these assessments. But ultimately the goal is to generalize them to all 90,000 unemployed people in Brussels.
