The airline SKY estimates that it will transport 31 thousand passengers on its routes to and from Brazil during the period from December 15, 2023 to January 2, 2024, a value 45% higher than that recorded in the same period of the previous year.

The preferred routes for the national public are Florianópolis – Santiago (Chile), Rio de Janeiro – Santiago (Chile) and São Paulo – Lima (Peru). To date, the three have sold more than 21 thousand tickets for this year-end. The expectation is that they will show growth of 23%, 15% and 100% in relation to 2022, respectively.

The flight that connects Florianópolis to the Chilean capital has been operated uninterruptedly since the beginning of 2023. Thanks to increased demand, frequencies have been increasing this year, reaching 10 weekly flights in December.

Flights departing from Rio de Janeiro to Santiago also increased throughout the second half of the year – currently, the weekly frequency is 12 trips. The São Paulo – Lima route began in July, with four flights per week, and, due to the good reception from the public, will reach December with daily operations.

On January 2, 2024, the airline will launch new operations between Montevideo, Uruguay, and the cities of Salvador and Florianópolis.
