Skyrim carpets have never been as high quality as with this mod

For Skyrim there’s a new mod that makes the game even a little more believable thanks to a significant visual upgrade… of the carpets.

The Rumbled Rugs mod is available at Nexus and includes more than 50 new variants of carpet models with high-quality textures. They look so good that you can inadvertently stumble.

According to the description of the mod, carpets can be smoothed out, but over time they will become a mess once more – this can take from 1 day to 2 weeks.

When the rumpled carpet is on the floor, the NPC has a 3% chance to trip and fall. In the case of running, the chance increases to 5%, or to 7% when sprinting. If you don’t want to fall, then use a sneak move or the light legs perk.
