Slalom Chamonix: Zen houses right at the forefront – Yule is not going well

It will be a very tight box at the top. Marco Schwarz, Ramon Zenhäusern and Clement Noel separate only a wafer-thin three hundredths of a second after a first run, which was characterized by heavy snowfall.

With start number one, the best Swiss slalom rider of the season, Ramon Zenhäusern, was not deterred by the drifting snow. He set a time that could only be surpassed by the current leader of the slalom classification, Marco Schwarz, and only by the blink of an eye.

Loic Meillard also confirmed his consistently good form with his run and classified himself in seventh place. The current situation of the exceptional Swiss driver from last season, Daniel Yule, is less of a pleasure. Yule just can’t find his rhythm and even after this first run has to worry about a good result and even participation in the World Championships in Cortina. He is classified on the 14th intermediate place.

With the high start number 38, Marc Rochat caused a late Swiss jubilation, he finished in a great 16th place.
