Around 238 million francs have also been invested for the benefit of local communities. In particular thanks to the Weda Bay nickel mines in Indonesia, which experienced very strong growth, and to nickel, whose profits increased by 60% in one year.
In 2023, SLN also hopes to return to growth thanks to a loan of 4.8 billion granted by the State. It plans to export 3.5 million tonnes of wet low-grade ore and 45,000 tonnes of ferronickel.
