Rather, the name Dušan Grúň will say something to the older among us. He is an eighty-one-year-old singer, regarding whom the whole of Slovakia is currently worried. Grúň left a very disturbing message on his Facebook profile.
“Friends, please pray for me. I’m sick, I’m saying goodbye to you,” Grúň wrote out of the blue on the social network on Saturday. According to Nové Čas information, the singer is fighting severe pneumonia, while his organs are failing. The family then revealed that they did not want to worry unnecessarily.
“He doesn’t want to go from hospital to hospital for the rest of his life, or to be on machines… If that’s the way it should be, let God take him,” the devastated wife Majka told the newspaper.
Grúň has been dedicated to the singing profession since the 1960s, while performing with the most famous Czech singers, including Karel Gott, Waldemar Matuška and Helena Vondráčková.
